DIRECTIONS

Baker Camp is easy to find, but can become difficult if you rely solely on a GPS.

Cell and wireless service is not consistent within Harriman State Park, and guests are encouraged to travel with printed directions and/or map to aid in easily locating Baker Camp.

From George Washington Bridge and Tappan Zee Bridge 
Head east on I-287 East / I-87 South. Take exit 9 for US-9 toward Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow. Turn right onto U.S. 9 N/Broadway.

Take the 1st right onto Route 119 E/White Plains Rd. Turn right to merge onto I-87 N. Take exit 15A for NY-17 North. At the light turn left (NY-17 N).

From New Jersey 
Take the Garden State Parkway or Route 17 North to the New York State Thruway (Route 87) North. Take Exit 15A. At the light turn left (NY-17 N).

From Connecticut 
Take I-84 West to exit 20 for I-684 toward NY 22/White Plains/Pawling. Follow signs for Interstate 684/White Plains/New York City and merge onto I-684 South. Take exit 5, towards NY-117. Follow signs and merge onto Saw Mill Parkway South.

On Saw Mill Parkway South, take exit 22 for I-87 W/I-287 W toward Albany/New York City. Follow signs for I-87/I-287 W/Albany/Tappan Zee Bridge and merge onto I-287 West.  Merge onto I-87 North. Take Exit 15A for NY-17 North. At the light turn left (NY-17 N).

From Exit 15A
On NY-17 North/Orange Turnpike, proceed 2 miles to the third traffic light and turn right onto Seven Lakes Drive. Continue past Reeves Meadow Information Center (1.5 miles from intersection). Baker Camp access road will be approx. 3 miles from the Information Center on the left. The camp access road is one lane and winding — Please Drive Slowly.



If using a GPS:
The closest intersection to search for is Orange Turnpike/7 Lakes Drive in Sloatsburg, NY 10974.

From the Orange Turnpike/7 Lakes Drive intersection, Baker Camp is approximately 4.5 miles.

Once on Seven Lakes Drive:

• Continue passed the Reeves Meadow Information Center on the left (Approx 1.4 miles from intersection)

• Continue passed Sebago Cabins. This is not Baker Camp! (Approx 2 miles from Visitor Center)

• Baker Camp sign (pictured below) & access road will be on the left. The camp access road is one lane and winding — PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY.
